Minutes of the KPARC Meeting of July 5, 2010

The meeting was called to order by President Dick Bishop at 2:05 p.m. in the Main Clubhouse Craft Room. The following officers were present: President Dick Bishop, Vice President Joe White, Secretary Sam Brandes, and Treasurer Bill Love.

The meeting opened with President Dick Bishop welcoming all members and guest and asked everyone to introduce themselves.

Presidents Report

President Dick Bishop reported on activities taking place during the summer season and asked members

to stop by the radio room and take advantage of interesting projects

Program

Today’s program was presented by Don Nathan, K2GPM, who provided a very interesting insight into building, testing and operating a QRP transmitter/receiver. Don provided a paper which detailed the kinds of material and testing information to hams to become part of this low power side of amateur radio.
