Minutes of the December 6, 2010 Monthly KPARC Meeting

The meeting was called to order by the president at 2:00 p.m. in the Main Clubhouse Craft Room. The following officers were present. President Dick Bishop, Secretary Sam Brandes and Bill Love Treasurer.

Old Business

Nominating Committee Report

In the absence of committee chairman Tom Cooney, President Dick Bishop read the committee report: Secretary: Monica Miller, Sam Brandes Vice President, Dick Bishop President and Bill Love Treasurer.

New Business

Election of Officers

President Bishop opened nominations from the floor. No other nominations were heard and a motion was made, seconded and past to close the nominations and one unanimous ballot cast. The aforementioned nominees were declared elected.

Meeting Day Change

At the November1, 2010 meeting of KPARC a motion was made seconded and passed to change the regular meeting from the first Monday of each calendar month to the second Monday of each calendar month beginning January 10, 2011. This change requires amending KPARC by-laws.

Change to KPARC by-law Paragraph 3 “Meetings”

Line (1): change “first” Monday to “second” Monday.

After a reading of the existing paragraph 3 and the proposed change, the president called for the vote to approve the amended language. The vote was unanimous to approve the change. The next KPARC meeting will be January 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
