The Club Shack
Club Information
The Radio Room is located at the East end of the Kings Point Main
Clubhouse. Major equipment includes: Two HF transceivers, HF
amplifier, HF SCS packet modem for AIRMAIL, 2-meter VHF
transceivers with APRS/Winlink packet KPC3+ TNC, Echolink PC/VHF
radio, 70cm & 11 meter [CB] transceivers, beam antenna for 20, 15,
and 10-meters and a long-wire for all other HF bands. Battery back-
up via solar panels. Hand-held VHF-transceivers & APRS units are
available for emergency operations. Computers are interfaced with
the equipment.
