Club Radio Room

We operate a well-equipped Club Radio Room located in the Kings Point North Clubhouse in Sun City Center, Florida. This facility serves as the heart of the club’s operations, offering members access to advanced radio equipment and a collaborative environment for both casual and emergency communications. The radio room is open to visitors every Thursday and Saturday morning from 9 to 11 a.m., providing an opportunity to tour the station, observe equipment in action, and engage with club members. Additionally, KPARC offers regular classes and exam sessions for those interested in becoming licensed operators. The club’s commitment to community service is evident through initiatives like the Disaster Radio Service (DRS) program, which equips residents with Family Radio Service (FRS) handheld radios to maintain communication during power outages or major storms. With a focus on emergency preparedness, technical learning, and community engagement, the KPARC Club Radio Room stands as a vital resource for both amateur radio enthusiasts and the broader community.
