On March 20, 2021 – This working session – Beam Refurbishment – was supported by 16 members of the KPARC met in the parking lot behind the north clubhouse to remove the 6 element Thunderbird beam antenna from the 60′ tower to disassemble, replace parts, clean oxidation, and corrosion and rebuild the antenna before replacing it on the tower. The project took about 12 hours to complete. The weather, while a little cool and windy, cooperated.  Here is a list of the folks who came to help with the beam refurb on Saturday (3/20/21). It was a long hard day for the sixteen volunteers that gave up their day to spend in the cold windy parking lot.
